The episode begins with Vidhi entering the kitchen to wash dishes. Dev joins her, joking that he won't let her have all the fun and that he looks forward to their extended honeymoon. When Dev inquires about washing utensils, Vidhi explains it's a common task for her, having done it before. Dev emphasizes that they are equals and expresses his desire to spend time with her. Meanwhile, Amba visits the police station, where Durga Devi informs her that they have found her daughter-in-law's mobile phone. The phone was discovered far from Amba's home, with the last call made to the Child and Woman cell, indicating that her daughter-in-law might have sought help.

 Amba is defensive when Durga Devi suggests that she might have caused her daughter-in-law distress. Durga Devi reveals that her daughter-in-law is missing and that the household staff had confirmed her absence. Amba clarifies that Chitra is her nephew Vikram's wife. Durga Devi questions Amba about acquiring Raichand Industries and Mansion, hinting at a series of misfortunes befalling the Raichands. Amba feels accused and questions Durga Devi's motives. Durga Devi, highlighting her impeccable record as an officer, warns Amba to comply with the investigation.

Durga Devi allows Amba to leave but mentions their discovery of her servant Manjeet Rai's phone, which revealed calls to London and a surprisingly lavish lifestyle. Amba dismisses the significance of these calls. Durga Devi connects the calls to Divya Roy, related to Dev's family, and questions Amba about Divya's recent job resignation.
